DIY PROJECT: MUSCLE TEE

Last May, I went back to the Philippines for my first vacation ever as an ex-pat here in Dubai. Since its very humid back there and my family will be visiting Bangkok, Thailand, I've decided to make a DIY muscle tee. Its very easy to make and all the materials are super easy to find! So for my first DIY PROJECT blog, I'm going to teach you how to make your own muscle tee! :)

You will need:

- Old shirt (Loose shirt is better! Mine is from my boy cousin!)
- Pair of scissors
- Pencil or pen
- Flat surface

After gathering all the needed materials, all you need to do is to follow these steps:

1. Lay the shirt flat on a flat surface. I chose the floor because I love working on it. Make sure that every sides of the shirt are laying equally flat on the surface.

2. Fold the shirt in half longitudinally (err, sorry but I'm a biology major can't help but to use "longitudinally") and make sure that all side are evenly spread on the flat surface.

3. Take out your pencil or pen and draw a curve line near the sleeves, the longer line will make a bigger hole while the shortest line will make smaller hole. Don't make it too big, just make a line big enough for your body because the cloth will roll up after a series of washing.

* If you will look closer on the 2nd picture, I have cut the sleeves already and realized that I forgot to take a picture after drawing the marking line. Someone is excited! LOL

4. Use your scissors to cut and make sure that you will meticulously follow the marking line! Fold the shirt again and use the first half as your guide in cutting the other sleeve.

And tadaaaah!

My DIY mt fits me well!
This DIY PROJECT is not only for ladies, its for gentlemen too who loves going to the gym and wants to have very comfortable outfit while working out!

Have a happy DIY Muscle Tee making!

Coffee or Tea?

Coffee or Tea?A question that is sometimes very hard to answer.
Coffee and tea are very popular nowadays. Both are so popular that due to high demands many stores invented a ton of flavours to add and give a new kick for both coffee and tea. To name a few famous stores where coffee and tea lovers usually go here are some:

For coffee lovers, they usually go to Starbucks, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Tim Hortons, UCC Coffee and Seattle's Best Coffee.

For tea lovers, they may go to TWG, Chatime, GongCha and Happy Lemon.

***Disclaimer: All photos are not mine.

Some of the mentioned shops offers both coffee and tea and so it depends now from their product price, place (the more cozy and customer friendly will probably the most visited) and product taste if people will come to their shop. And yes, I have included my faves shops here! I can say that I am more of a tea person because I love drinking hot Green Tea Latte from Starbucks, Gong Cha's House Special Milk Winter Melon Tea and any milk tea with Yakult from Happy Lemon! Its kinda sad and depressing because all of my faves are not available here in Dubai so I am still searching for my next fave drinks here though I think I already have one but it doesn't have any tea on it, its SB's Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, the coffee free one, which is available I think here in Dubai every summer  up until the end of winter.

One venti and coffee free of this, please?

Coffee or Tea, both offers a great boost of happy hormones and energy! Also, both offers a great deal of benefits like antioxidants! But of course both are best to drink if you are with your loved ones!

Have a tea or coffee today!

What's in my bag?

Hi there! My blog post for today is about the stuffs inside my bag! Geeez. It's my first time to blog about the stuffs inside my bag  (though I have been sharing a few stuffs that I carry with me daily in Instagram) - so I bet this would be oh-so-fun!

To Happiness bag  by Bershka

So here is my bag that I got from Bershka. Yes, it's big and I like big bags which can carry a lot of stuffs and will make my both hands free. To Happinesssss! :)

And here are the stuffs inside my bag.

1 -  A Kipling pouch which contains my make up.
2 - A smaller Kipling pouch which contains my "germ busting" stuffs and other life saving items (which I will show you later).
3 - A Bershka wallet (which contains my money and cards).
4 - My Stitch key chain that I got from Hong Kong Disneyland.
5 - My Starbucks 2015 Planner from my big brother (I asked him to collect stickers and send the planner to me because SB stores here in Dubai are not offering this wonderful planner, so sad).
6 - My bus cards and Emirates Identity card holder that my boyfriend bought from Daiso (I always make sure that I carry this one around, or I'm dead lol)
7 - My boyfriend's Ray Ban sunglass case which I borrowed (forever) that contains my sunglasses from Aldo and my anti-glare glasses.
8 - Pink Chiffon Fine Fragrance Mist from Bath and Body Works.
9 - My best bud, my iPod nano video (I forgot to include my headset on this picture).
10 - My big yellow comb!
11 - Of course, my bag. :)

And to further show you my stuffs, let's take a peek in my Kipling small pouch;

As I mentioned above, this smaller Kipling pouch contains  "germ busting" stuff and other life saving items.

1 - My trusted germ killer pouch.
2 - My oriental pouch with a watch inside from my Aunt which she bought from Singapore (my other three lady cousins have the same watch, sorry I didn't let you see the watch).
3  and 4 - Spray sanitizer in Floral Burst and Healthy Lotion from Human<3Nature, I love these items because they are 100% natural and they don't contain harmful chemicals which can contribute to cancer, a.k.a carcinogen.
5 - Cool & Cool Extra hygienic and non-sticky Hand sanitizer (I love how it moisturizes my palm!).
6 - My tablet/pill box which contains 4 pieces of Centrum vitamins (yes, too lazy to drink them up).
7 - Hair ties from H&M.

Well, that's all for now. I will write another blog post about what's inside my Make Up pouch! Hope you enjoyed this not so little peek in my bag!

I wanna see yours too! :)

The Golden Rule

Sounds familiar?
Yes. It is the Golden Rule, my friend. A Global Ethic.
We have heard it so many times and yet we choose to forget and never follow it.
For sure you have raised your eyebrow for a person who did something bad which you know that he/she would definitely hate it when someone do it to him/her. And yes, I have raised mine too.

When someone did something bad to me, I will wait for the right time to come where I can claim the chance to do it to him/her too.
Sounds like revenge? Well, for me it’s not revenge, I am just teaching that person a lesson. You know, just like what people are saying, let the bully learn his lesson.

Some people will never realize what they are doing unless someone will bitch slap them on the face. Well I mean, unless someone will teach them a lesson.

Nobody is perfect and I know I’m not perfect too and I make mistakes. But at the end of the day, I do evaluate myself as well as how I treat others and of course, I keep in mind that I should always follow the Golden Rule anytime and anywhere.

And, why don’t you tell me your Golden Rule experience/ story too? I'll be waiting for it! :)

That Undeserved Extra Mile

Yes.
My first blog here in my new Blogger account.

Yes.
I will use this very first blog to express myself.
Anyway, everyone is entitled to express themselves. Sorry na lang sa matatamaan, because as the saying goes, "Bato bato sa langit, ang matamaan sapul at wag magagalit." :)

I will not type a long paragraph. I will just post images in relation of what I want to say.

So here it begins...

And last but not the least...

At first, you will be blinded.
You will feel happiness and contentment until..
You find out that something is up. Someone is up to something.

Second, you will open your eyes.
You cannot see clearly at first and everything seems to be blurred.
You will find ways and you will scratch your eyes and blink and blink and blink...

Third, everything is crystal clear.
You will tell yourself, "Starting today, I am alone. I will fight alone."

And you will fight because they do not deserve that extra mile which you are giving them.
And the search will begin...

:)
